RRM Masonry is a masonry construction business owned and operated by Mr. Richard Reynolds. The business specializes in masonry components working with brick, block, and stone. Mr. Reynolds has over 35 years experience in the masonry field. The company was formed April 1, 1998. The business hours are 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Richard finds it convenient to operate out of his home, allowing the longer business day and lower overhead than other similar businesses. Since the formation of the company, a 2,250 square foot shop has been added behind his residence. This shop houses an office, a storage loft, and a large work shop for equipment maintenance. Richard Reynolds Masonry also occupies a portion of a storage yard which houses material, scaffold, trailers, and miscellaneous large equipment. Mr. Reynolds started his business to fill the need for quality masonry contractors in the area.
The original company goals were laid out in a mission statement, a company profile, and a finance proposal. The goal, at that time was to dominate the residential market and make strides into the commercial aspect of the industry. Based on the predictions of growth in the north state area Mr. Reynolds sought to move his company into a much larger scale. Following the business plan he made in 1998 he surrounded himself with the equipment, the personnel, and the resources to make this transition. As a company we exceeded all of these goals. The focus of the Richard Reynolds Masonry is now commercial buildings.
As a company, we operate as a subcontractor for some of the largest contractors in the state of California. We do not subcontract out any of our work. Our project break down is as follows, 15% commercial, 80% public work, and 5% government agencies.
Utilizing the company resources, projected industry growth, as well as marketing to the population increase in Northern California, Richard Reynolds Masonry finds itself in a well earned first place . We have established new company goals, and laid out a detailed program on how to achieve them. We are already in the process of securing a place as the sole masonry subcontractor for one of the largest General Contractors in the United States. We have secured the necessary lines of credit. We have already purchased the equipment necessary for our project growth. We are also running multiple job crews supporting the industry needs. The keys to success have not changed for us. We already have the financial resources, the necessary equipment, and the key personnel.
Industry has predicted the same growth analysis for the next 10 years. New residence, as well as the shift in population from south to north supports our industry in every aspect. Simply put California’s population is not getting any smaller.

His responsibility include, project estimating, foreman supervision, project accountability, material orders, and company leads on for the general contractors. He has been in the industry for 35 years and founded Richard Reynolds Masonry. Mr. Reynolds is solely responsible for the company growth over the years and the drive that pushes all of his employees. His ability to interact and work with the general contractors to achieve an architect’s vision is what turns a building into a work of art.
